BRIDGEWATER and Area PERFORMING ARTS SOCIETY

Bridgewater And Area Performing Arts Society (BAPAS) to hold an event at Empire Theatres Studio 7 in Bridgewater.

Mayor Carroll Publicover announced (at the time of this writing) a business relationship between the Bridgewater And Area Performing Arts Society in Bridgewater with Empire Theatres Studio 7. The Bridgewater And Area Performing Arts Society  formed to help create a venue for live performances in Bridgewater.

Empire Theatres is renting the use of one of its auditoriums to the Bridgewater And Area Performing Arts Society, for live performances as scheduling permits. Empire Theatres is an excellent venue to showcase a variety of talent. The theatre has comfortable seating, great acoustics and provides a lobby and refreshments area to enhance services to people attending LIVE music and theatre performances. (click this text to see the video)

"A venue for live performances has been needed in Bridgewater for a long time", said Mayor Publicover. "The opportunity to use one of the auditoriums at Empire Theatres will provide one more venue on the South Shore for travelling performances."

Empire Theatres views this as a business opportunity to assist the community in expanding its Performing Arts. The auditorium is temporarily set up to accommodate a live performance. The Bridgewater And Area Performing Arts Society hopes to hold at least one event each month, with the exception of May and November.
